Last weekend Bixie released the awaited VirtueUpload Pro version. It has many new features, of wich the possibility to upload more than one file is the biggest. The new Ajax-based upload environment is an other big new feature. For the working demo of VirtueUpload Pro, go to vupro.bixie.org

Bixie is proud to announce that the development of Virtue Upload Pro is now in full progress. VirtueUpload Pro is the commercial successor of VirtueUpload. There will also be a new GNU/GPL free version available soon. You can follow the development of VirtueUpload Pro live at beta.bixie.nl.

VirtueUpload and VirtueMart 1.1.4

The release of VirtueMart 1.1.4 doesn't effect the use of VirtueUpload. In the components download both the 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 VirtueMart hacks are included. There is also a seperate patch for VirtueMart 1.1.4 available for download. There is no need to update VirtueUpload!

Bixie is now also present on the Joomla Extensions Directory. VirtueUpload can now grow further! Meanwhile, also the Hungarian and Italian languages are added to the language packs.

500 downloads for VirtueUpload!

Today, the download-counter of the VirtueUpload package passed the 500 downloads. The component is downloaded from this site as a package 500 times in 7 weeks time. And there have also been over 180 downloads from the DutchJoomla downloadsite.

VirtueUpload in multiple languages

VirtueUpload is also available in several languages. All language packs are easy to install via the Joomla! installer. They can be downloaded in the download section! There are language packs for the French, German, Italian, Hungarian, Slovak and Estonian language.

The Virtue Upload component is now also available in English. The default download is now in Dutch and English. As previously reported, the installationguide was already published in English. French and German language packs are also expected soon.
