How to use Multiple forms Bixie-Chrono 1 Year, 10 Months ago
Can you just duplicate the Bixie VirtueMart-Chrono Module to a new name in order to use an additional form?

Using multiple forms are Not mentioned within the manual:
Bixie_VM-Chronoform_module_manual_eng.pdf

I ask because I duplicated ("Copy" from the Admin back-end) the Bixie module to a new name and set it up pointing to a new form; However, when I enable this module, my existing form , that was working, just clocks when I submit. Then when I disable the duplicated module, the original form works just fine again.

Any thoughts?

You're on the right track!

Just copy the module to another position (eg "vm-chrono2"). Then put {loadposition vm-chrono2} in your product description.

I am trying to that that.

But am having some problems.

This form: sybil.no/index.php?page=shop.p...;Itemid=63

is working and i am getting proper receipts and shown what choices where made during the shopping proccess.

But this one: sybil.no/index.php?page=shop.p...;Itemid=58

Which uses a different form through a second module with a different product attribute aswell as unique position all reflected in the "content description" area of the product does not show me the receipt/list.

I did find a solution for this.

It was my mistake. i assumed that you needed a different value of the product attribute in the different modules and thereby the different products. It appears it was not so. and changing the "VM Product attribute" to be uniform/same in all modules and reflecting that in the products fixed this problem.

Remember that from version 1.0RC of the module, each moduleposition of a vm-chrono module must start with "vmchrono". So name your modules "vmchrono_formname" for example.
This solves the problem of having to use an uniform "VM-product attribute". You can use different attributes in different modules now.
